Many HR representatives have inherited non-compliant I-9s that create significant legal risk to an organization. This session will cover current I-9 requirements, including for remote workers. Attendees will be advised how to conduct internal audits to verify compliance and detect problematic issues. I-9 retention laws will also be covered. Most importantly, attendees will be guided on how to fix non-compliant I-9s to mitigate risk without increasing legal exposure.
